Naela has more than 15 years of experience in education in various roles. She worked as a computer and information technology teacher and administrative assistant at the UNRWA Askar Basic Girls School No. 3, Nablus until 2018, before taking over as Principal of Ya’bad Basic Boys School in 2019. She also has extensive experience in pre-service teacher training and STEM methodologies.

 Naela received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming from An-Najah National University in 2003, and a Master’s degree in Curricula & Teaching Methods from An-Najah University, Nablus, in 2019, and today she is a PhD candidate in Teaching and Learning in Palestine from An-Najah University.

Naela a member of the Khutwa community, having participated in Khutwa's “Sparking Dialogue on Education” program in 2018.
