Siryeh has 25 years of experience in education, starting as an English language teacher at the Al-Fawwar Basic School for Girls - UNRWA for twenty years before taking the position of Principal of the Hebron Basic Girls School - UNRWA. As a school principal, Siryeh works to create a safe, motivating and leadership-oriented school environment that respects teamwork and encourages initiative and innovation.
Siryeh obtained a diploma in English Language Teaching Methods from the UNRWA Women's Training Center in Ramallah in 1990, and a Bachelor's in English from Al-Quds Open University in 1997. She has also participated in many training courses and workshops dealing with teaching methods organized by UNRWA and other institutions. She was the winner of the Initiative to Promote e-Learning funded by Belgium to encourage e-learning in Palestinian schools in 2013, and the International School Award (ISA) in partnership with schools in Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon in 2015. In Addition, she won Taawon Distinguished Teacher Award in 2018.
Siryeh is a member of the Khutwa community, having participated in Khutwa's “Sparking Dialogue on Education” program in 2018.
